The pub offers a charming atmosphere with rustic decor and friendly staff. Dining here was enjoyable, though some cleanliness issues and a mixed experience with the food were noted. The view is lovely, making it a pleasant spot for a drink, despite a few drawbacks.

The room was spacious with a carpeted floor and had nice amenities like an electric kettle, flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom. The stay was quite pleasant overall. The themed decor in my room added a unique touch, which I really appreciated. The outdoor garden was perfect for summer dining, and the food was spot on, especially the fish pie. I did find the noise from the main road a bit disruptive during the night, which made it difficult to sleep at times.

The octopus millefeuille was a culinary revelation, something I'd rave about for ages! Plus, the shower pressure was excellent, and the breakfast spread kept me fueled for adventures all day.
But the traffic noise was a real bugbear, making sleep a bit tricky. Ear plugs are a must if you're planning to stay here.
